SunZia East Renewable Energy Initiative

B&D was proud to support Pattern Energy in the development of the landmark SunZia East renewable energy initiative, located outside Corona, New Mexico. As part of this transformative clean-energy project, our team delivered the full scope of low-voltage electrical work essential to powering critical systems across the site.

Our work at SunZia East included all electrical installations on the load side of 480V and below, supporting the safe and reliable operation of key site equipment. B&D’s scope encompassed site lighting, final equipment connections, grounding systems, and other essential electrical components needed to bring this renewable infrastructure online.

Collaboration was central to the project’s success. We partnered closely with engineer and relied on strong communication with the project team to complete the work efficiently across a multi-acre footprint. With a focus on quality, safety, and long-term reliability, B&D delivered electrical systems designed to support the operational goals of one of the region’s most important clean-energy assets.

The SunZia project represents a major investment in New Mexico’s renewable energy future, and B&D is proud to contribute to the infrastructure that will help power the Southwest for decades to come.
